Bush and dune care - just one of the ways we work tirelessly for our community and environment.
Our amazing bushcare volunteers have rolled up their sleeves for decades to protect our beautiful flora and fauna in the fragile bushland and dune system of Peregian Beach and Marcus Beach.
They have waged war on invasive weeds, helped to restore the habitat of threatened species, planted countless native trees and helped educate our community and kids on the importance of conservation.
Tony Wellington presents our own bushcare legend Rochelle Gooch with the 'silver shovel' in 2018.
