FIND A FROG IN FEBRUARY

It’s February and there’s been a bit of rain around which is great news if you’re a frog!

Every February the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee or MRCCC hold an event called Find a Frog in February which is a month long community survey that aims to gather region wide data on frog species, numbers and locations.

We would like to encourage all people who care about the bush, otherwise known as Bushcarers, to get involved in this fantastic citizen science initiative as frogs are vital to many if not all of our local ecosystems and are a good indicator of a systems health.

Like to identify that frog in your garden? Here you can download the FROG FINDER'S GUIDE.
